Veterinary booking system and clinic website

Most clinics already have a website, a booking widget, and a practice diary. The problem is that none of them know about each other, so the front desk becomes the integration layer.

What we walk into

The state of play in veterinary & clinics

  • Appointments taken by phone and written into a diary the rest of the team cannot see
  • A booking widget bolted onto the website that does not know which vet is on shift
  • Pet history in paper files or a desktop application nobody can reach from reception
  • No-shows with no reminder trail and no way to fill the slot

Outcomes

What changes

  • Online booking
  • Pet portal
  • Staff scheduling

Broader sector context lives on Veterinary & Clinics software, and the full engagement is described on Industry OS & Portals.

Scope

What the build covers

Booking against real availability

Slots derived from staff rotas and service duration, so the system cannot sell an appointment the clinic cannot staff.

Pet and client portal

Owners see their pets, visit history, and upcoming appointments, and can rebook without calling reception.

Branded clinic website

The public site is part of the same product, so services, hours, and the booking flow never drift apart.

Front desk dashboard

Today's arrivals, intake notes, and enquiries on one screen, which is the screen reception actually keeps open.

Rollout

How it sequences

  1. 01

    Map the working day

Consult lengths, surgery blocks, who covers what, and the appointment types that are allowed to self-book.

  2. 02

    Website and booking live

Public site plus booking goes first, because it is the part that reduces phone volume from week one.

  3. 03

    Portal and records

Client and pet records follow once the front desk trusts the diary, with history imported where it exists in a usable form.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask first

Can this replace our practice management software?

It replaces the booking, portal, website, and scheduling layer, and covers clinic operations end to end for most small and mid-size practices. A hospital running deep diagnostic or imaging workflows usually keeps its specialist system and we integrate rather than replace.

Will owners actually use a portal?

They use it for rebooking and records, which is the point — every self-service rebook is a call reception did not take. Reminders still go out by email and message, so the portal is not the only channel.

What happens to our current website?

We either rebuild it inside the clinic OS or point the existing domain at the new site and retire the old host. Content and search rankings carry across with redirects.
